چکیده

Abstract Electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O ) from oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is a promising alternative to the costly anthraquinone method. However, sluggish kinetics ORR on most electrocatalysts restricts its wide application. Therefore, exploring with high activity and selectivity for two–electron significant. Herein, cobalt atoms anchored nitrogen-doped hollow carbon spheres (Co–NHCS) are presented H electrosynthesis. The Co–NHCS catalyst exhibits excellent electrosynthesis performance in acidic media reactivity an potential 0.581 V at 1.0 mA cm −2 up 90%. Moreover, output assembled device reaches 2980 mg l −1 h Faraday efficiency. enhanced originates structure center sites Co introduction. This work affords facile strategy fabrication high-efficient carbon-based materials

Free-standing nitrogen-doped carbon nanofiber films as highly efficient electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction.

Free-standing nitrogen-doped carbon nanofiber (NCNF) films based on polyacrylonitrile (PAN) were prepared simply by the combination of electrospinning and thermal treatment. We reused the nitrogen-rich gas generated as the byproduct of PAN at elevated temperature, mainly NH3, for surface etching and nitrogen doping. The as-obtained NCNFs exhibited a rougher surface and smaller diameter than pri...
